Ted Warnock, Tolman science
teacher and running coach, passed away on February 29, 2009 after a three year battle with Leukemia. Those of us who were
coached by Ted remember him as a great mentor, friend, and all-around wonderful person. We were lucky to reunite with him
over the past couple years and once again were reminded why he was so special.
A memorial gathering will be held at the St. Teresa's Church Hall, 358 Newport Avenue
in Pawtucketon Friday, March 13 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This
is an informal get-together where people will have the chance to share their memories of Ted with his friends and family.
All are invited.

Short-notice reunion for all Tolman HS grads
(and anyone else who's interested!): On Friday, June 12, Michael Markovich and his band RI Rocks are playing at the Call,
41 Mendon Avenue in Pawtucket. Here are a few reasons you should go: 1) Mike's a THS 83 grad; 2) the Call is at least partly owned by another THS
grad Steve Pate, 3) the Call is the former Archie's Tavern; 4) the band is reputed to rock!
