Adult Services: Vocational & Day Services
Vocational and Day Services are offered from several different locations according to an individual’s needs and preferences. These sites include Exchange Street, Dyer Avenue, Comstock Parkway and a variety of individualized volunteer and community based placements.
Adult Day and Community-Based Services
Agency Community Program is an enrichment program that provides social and volunteer opportunities to individuals in all areas of day services. This program affords individuals the opportunity to explore and participate in interest-based community activities of choice. The Agency Community Program fosters community membership, self determination and choice for individual throughout our agency. Supports are provided through Dyer Avenue and Exchange Street.
Dyer Avenue is a day activities program that encompasses services and supports in the areas of vocational, educational, social and clinical services. Individuals who choose Dyer as their base have the opportunity to participate in a combination of in-house and community based activities.
- Exchange Street Program is a full time community based program, which emphasizes community membership and involvement. Like Dyer Avenue, involvement can be vocational, social and recreational in nature. Activities include an array of community involvement, which includes volunteering at Meals on Wheels, Visiting Nurses Association, and the Animal Rescue League, as well as other opportunities to expand on skills that may develop into paid services.
